Market Data API

The Market Data API is read-only and can be used with a full partner key or a restricted data key. It covers exchange catalogues, stock and ETF prices, historical candles, charts, company profiles, news, market status, and curated market intelligence. African equity prices are exchange-supplied on a 15-minute-delayed basis; they are not real-time quotes.

MyStocks holds full market-data rights for every supported exchange. The 15-minute delay is the exchange feed's latency class, not a licensing limitation. The API is pull-based and targets a 15-minute refresh cadence during the published coverage window; always display or retain asOf. Every listed African equity has EOD price history for a line chart. Reported OHLCV is available only where the source series contains it, so use recommendedChartType and the quality metadata before rendering candlesticks or volume. SSE and webhooks deliver state-change events; they are not tick-by-tick price feeds. See Data Licensing.
